General Information
The Rivne Center for the Vocational Education of the State Employment Service (hereinafter – Rivne CVE SES) was established in 1992 by order No. 15 of the Rivne Regional Employment Center dated 02.03.1992, in agreement with the State Employment Center. In 1997, it received the status of a state educational institution, and in 2007 – its current name.

Rivne CVE SES is a state vocational education institution under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The strategic goal of the VET institution is to provide prompt, high-quality vocational training, retraining, and upskilling of the unemployed to enhance their competitiveness in regional labor markets, promote employment in their specialty, and ensure job retention or the establishment of their own businesses.

Educational services are provided to various adult population categories:

  • Registered unemployed (funded by the State Unemployment Insurance Fund)
  • Unregistered unemployed (self-funded or voucher-based)
  • Employed citizens (self-funded, employer-funded, or voucher-based)
  • Internally displaced persons
  • Combatants (funded by the Fund)
  • Persons with disabilities, including those injured in war (funded by the Fund)

Training is provided in 58 licensed professions and 78 short-term programs in sectors such as woodworking, metalworking, motor vehicle transport and repair, construction, road construction, agriculture, forestry, hospitality, restaurant services, garment industry, service sector, trade, tourism, ICT, and more.

Licensed professions include:
Tourism Agent, Administrator, Bartender, Woodworking Machine Operator, General-purpose Machine Operator, Shoe Repairer, Wicker Product Maker, Vehicle Driver, Records Clerk, Tailor, Cashier, Forging Blacksmith, Confectioner, Sewer, Cook, Tiler, Restaurant Service Specialist, Grader Operator, Boiler Operator, Nurse Assistant, Bricklayer, Information and Software Operator, Boiler Room Operator, Waiter, Housekeeper, Non-food Goods Seller, Food Goods Seller, Fish Breeder, Landscaping Worker, Farm Worker, Executive Secretary, Vehicle Repair Locksmith, Maintenance Locksmith, Construction Carpenter, Turner, Agricultural Machine Operator, Milling Machine Operator, Seamstress, Plasterer.

Training is conducted in Rivne and five branches (Oleksandriia, Hoshcha, Sarny, Kostopil, Mlyniv). The center has 90 training facilities (29 classrooms, 21 laboratories, 40 workshops), a driving range, and a training ground. The total capacity is 724 students at a time.

The staff includes 138 employees. The educational process is carried out by 24 full-time teachers and 24 vocational training instructors. Over 600 additional instructors are involved annually under civil law contracts.

The center cooperates closely with employers.
By 2025, advisory bodies such as the Advisory Committee and Councils were operational. In April 2025, a Supervisory Board was established and its members approved (Order of the Ministry of Economy dated April 15, 2025, No. 2176).

Employers are involved in the Methodological Council, curriculum development, equipment upgrades, licensing of new professions, and short-term course development. All training plans are approved by employers. Key partners include: MAANS, KATTO GROUP, Kostopil Glass Plant, SWISSPAN-LIMITED, Stograd, UkrCemRemont Plus, MASCHIO-GASPARDO Ukraine, POLISSYA-GARANT, Volodar-Auto, AGRO-TRUCK, and retail chains Vopak, Nash Kray, Fozzy, Kopiyka, ALEXIA advertising-production company. Cooperation also extends to the Rivne Chefs’ Guild, the United Employers’ Organization of Rivne Region, and the Light Industry Employers’ Association.

Over 160,000 individuals have used the center’s services since its foundation. Annually, more than 5,000 people undergo professional training here, over 50% from other regions of Ukraine.

Accessibility:
Facilities are equipped with ramps and adapted classrooms. About 100 people with disabilities study here yearly. Staff are trained in inclusive communication, education, and support.

Distance education is also available via an e-learning platform hosting original online courses.
